Asbestos Removal

We have over 25 years of experience in helping organisations across the UK and from all industry sectors to safely manage the asbestos on their site with a swift approach causing minimal disruption to clients.

Adding to our list of services we can arrange for a qualified asbestos safe engineer to come in and turn off the gas in full accordance with current asbestos and gas regulations in a contaminated area making it safer for you and others in the building.

With over 1.5 million approved buildings in the UK with asbestos containing materials (ACMs) asbestos is the single most common cause of work related deaths. Asbestos was mainly used in the construction of buildings between the 1950s and 1980s before it was totally banned in 1999.

Any buildings constructed before 2000 could contain some type of asbestos containing material. All commercial buildings now have to have an asbestos management plan. The Control of Asbestos at Work 2006 (CAR), Regulation 4 stipulates that the duty holder is responsible for dealing with any asbestos on their premises.

The CAR regulation draws together the prohibition of asbestos, the control of asbestos at work and asbestos licensing. It reports on the importation, supply and use of all types of asbestos. The regulation continues the ban of blue, brown and white asbestos. It also bans the second hand use of asbestos cement sheets, asbestos boards and tiles.

Working in accordance with all current HSE regulations and legislations with regards to asbestos removal, asbestos sampling and surveys, asbestos waste management, and thermal insulation we offer a comprehensive service with highly trained staff with years of experience between them.

How do you remove the asbestos?
The process used for removing asbestos depends on the type of asbestos present in your building. Once one of our qualified managers has examined the type of asbestos in the building we will structure with you a strategic plan towards safely removing or encapsulating the protecting ACMs.

How would I know I have asbestos on site?
Identifying asbestos in your building can be difficult which is why we offer our professional advice and comprehensive solutions to minimise any risk. If you are unsure if you have asbestos on site we can provide you with an asbestos survey which will help identify any potential hazardous asbestos.

Who will be carrying out the project?
All of our projects, small or large, are carried out by our in house trained team who work in accordance with all current Health and Safety regulations and legislations, in a safe and controlled environment. We are members of ARCA, Construction line and CHAS to illustrate the company’s commitment to health and safety at work.

Our broad range of clients includes the NHS trusts, local authorities, banks, Universities, the public sector, and private companies.
