Cordtape Energy Management Systems Ltd, recently attended the Low Carbon Conference and Marketplace, hosted by the East Midlands NHS Sustainable Development Network.
During our time at the conference we learnt about some of the initiatives the Sustainable Development Network are looking to take forward across the East Midlands and were given the opportunity to talk to NHS Trusts about how we can help them comply with elements of the Carbon Reduction Strategy of 2009.
Cordtape Energy Management Systems Ltd, were asked to offer a pledge that would aid an area of the NHS to continue making carbon conscious changes. We were delighted to formally hand over our pledge of a Free Thermal Energy Survey for a boiler/plant room to the East Midlands Ambulance Service and subsequently to the Nottingham City Primary Care Trust.
The purpose of these Thermal Energy Surveys is to demonstrate, with before and after thermal imaging, how utilising Cordtape’s Energy Jackets will not only aid in the reduction of Carbon, but also show the cost savings that can be made by insulating the valves, flanges and other heat sensitive equipment within the boiler/plant rooms.
